The story begins when I first heard JK's Emergency on the planet earth. He immediately invaded the need for more music in me and the desire to project it.
Then the first albums of the Spanish Acid Jazz magazine appeared and my musical panorama was brutally opened.
In 1994 I bought my first CD Players, turntables and a 3-channel mixer that would later give way to the first "Raves" in my beloved Oaxaca in southeastern Mexico. Soon I would also be presenting in other places and in 1998 in Puebla I get to know to the collective Nortec, a fusing regional band music with Electro. I changed the chip. The parties were more continuous and each time more members were added to the production; sharing stage with El Parador Analogue, Demian Romero, Martin Parra, Tini Tun, Ramiro Puente, Dj Chrysler and of course Alejandra Vogue.

Don´t stop buying music

Due to my incursions in other work areas I stopped producing events, without ever having to have equipment in my house and put on private parties.
It was then almost 20 years later when I decided to dedicate myself to 100 to my great passion and from then to here I went back to the stages in DF (Hooka, Shaman, La Bipo, Mono) I produced the Style Week Mexico next to the fashion designer Sergio Alcala and I had the opportunity to get in contact with bands from different genres (Reeds, Solagua, Mosy, Los pinches fresitas, Hugo Grob), the performers Amsel & Cat, visual artists (Tigüi Arau, Defrag) and many designers. Shortly I would be producing the MUSIC LAB in the State of Morelos with more than 10 bands, Djs and Vjs, 24 hrs of music, and I started to collaborate with them producing remix and being managger to bookear dates of more bands (Mandragoras, BIT, Las Light and Power, Altermutz, Illuminari, Fat Mariachi, Noam Tuchman, The Mother Polka among others.
For this moment I am already back in the Mexican southeast playing in the most crowded bars and clubs (Txalaparta, Casa Istanbul, Garage, Casa Crespo, Ibiza, Cara Cara, Revolution, Xibre, at the Oaxaca-Tuxtla Gtz circuit) Cristóbal de las Casas) producing with the bands and I realize that I needed to jump to something else - but that's another subject.

El Ritmo

Afro American Funk Beats

Afro American Funk Beats

The rhythem is present in virtually all musical genres except Ambient and some very particular cases of indigenous regional music.
The first vestiges we have of rhythm come from the drums and percussions that place their beginning next to that of man in Africa, maybe this solves your question of why some people seem to bring the rhythm in the genes ... it is by that origin, that in fact it is a great assertion.
We Americans are owners of that great influence for obvious reasons and it has manifested itself and how ... The Blues, Jazz, Hip Hop, Soul and the dance master called Funk: Guided by the bass lines, electric guitar, the sound of the metals or a hammond organ, normally full of loops are the waters part of modern dance music.
Precursors and responsible for infesting people who had partied in the clubs because later, as a result, gave way to disco balls and discotheques. Ready for the Underground BOO NOW !!
We currently have a lot of material to cut thanks to these influences with Dubstep, Jungle, Drum and Bass, Glitch Hop and the much acclaimed Trap.

From Electro to House

Electronics as the force that guides attendees of the most global partys or even very selective or exclusive.
In my opinion, it is the most ad-orc rhythms to dance unstoppable for hours, whether at a festival, inside the car on a road trip or simply move your head in a restaurant-bar.
With its balanced composition 4 out of 4 it does not leave anyone indifferent.
Whether Funk House, Tribal, Latin, Acid, Tech, Electro or Progressive will always be there in my sets ready to inject energy to the lovers of the genre. I also recognize that although there are more current genres such as the Future House or the Deep, my style never abuses them because I prefer to sound like a good old school.
Normally long transitions with filters, like harmonic mixes that evoke spirituality, frenzy and good vibes is what you will find if you see me in the booth, it is so nice to connect with this audience.

Latin Dance Floor

As well as the miscegenation, the fusion with African rhythms from the time of the conquest enriched in a significant way the music in America.
The Latin blood that runs through my veins causes a great connection to salsa, son and cumbia that lately have taken more definition and importance as individual genres, before it was not like that because everything was called Tropical !! For me today the dance floor of Latin Beats, Cumbia Electro, the so-called reggaeton or simply what I call Tropical is flooded.
From Brazil with La Bossa, to salsa in Colombia or cumbia in Paraguay, from Son in Cuba to Mexican Pop or Candongue Argentino, fusions with Electro, Rock bands, Pop artists, Nu: Funk etc .... my people, always happy and forceful

Rock, the cadence of POPular music

What most people seek is the mainstream or commercial as some know it in contrast to the Rockeras guitars and the distortion that lead us to the event, we could mention the multiple variants of each of these dominant genres of the music scene; but I prefer to define this confrontation as 2 seemingly opposite protagonist currents but that actually go hand in hand very tight, and we could not think of one without the other ... it's like Apache love.
For me they are always present, for example: the evolution of Indie Rock for a good evening drinks, or the so precious Alternative that leads us to past eras or to propose a retro conceptual event listening to Rockabilly, Punk or Glam. Vice versa with the music Urban, Soul, Folk and Rythim and Blues that nuance themes that unfailingly hooked!!!

The door to the cosmopolitan and fashionable, here converge all the current artistic currents and is a link to other horizons that I am interested in continuing to explore in the old world.
With the turntables, The Cd Players, Vertical Mixers, Rotating, Controllers, interfaces, samplers, drum machines, Secuendores, the thing is to keep playing and communicating my feelings, that's why I landed in Barcelona ready to climb a level more.
Today I played at Soho House, Bestial, Sailfish, Cock, Red and Black, Mix BCN, Born Boraz, Why Not, and I'm in talks to get to play Suton, Café del Mar, Shoko, Omm, El Cinco, Boca Grande playing at the Cruilla festival and others ...
Strengthening my stage as a producer, I am currently studying the degree in Musical Production at MICROFUSA with the clear aim of before 2010 to have the material of my musical project.
As the last sprint of 2017 I am collaborating in the design and artistic image of the Private Club next to inaugurate Hedges 1664, be attentive, since I complement my musical profile with another very strong part also in my that focuses on the plastic arts and sculpture, But of this we will talk more in another SoundLink volume.
